Frequently asked questions
The things people ask us most.
Where are the sessions held?
Location is shared with registered dancers. Reserve a session or send us a message and we will send you the details along with your confirmation.
When do you dance?
Every Sunday and Thursday evening, from 6:45 until 11:30 PM. We do not hold sessions on Jewish holidays, so those dates simply do not appear on the schedule.
How far ahead can I reserve?
One week. A session opens for reservations exactly seven days before it starts and closes when it begins. Sessions further out are listed on the schedule so you can see them coming, with the date and time their reservations open.
Do I need experience? Can beginners come?
Beginners are welcome, and you do not need to bring a partner. Israeli folk dance is danced in circles, in lines, and in couples, so you learn by joining in — and people pair up on the night for the couple dances. Evenings start with more approachable dances and build from there.
How do I hear about marathons and special parties?
Special events appear on the schedule page as soon as reservations open for them, and we announce them on our Facebook page and YouTube channel. You can also contact us and ask to be told directly.
